It's not summer anymore! GO HOME! - Walrus Cloudy
...now it's clear
It's not summer anymore! GO HOME!
I live in a beach town, in Delaware. It's understandable that we're flooded with tourists during the summer, when it's nice and warm and people want to go to the beach. It's also understandable that we get lots of weekend visitors from nearby states, since we don't have sales tax.

What's NOT understandable is that the place is still overrun with tourists on the first of November. These people need to go home and write a novel or something, and not be here in my town taking up all the parking in front of my apartment building. In the summer, when the parking meters are up, I have to park about two blocks away in an unmetered (permit) space. I had to park where I do in the summer, tonight, when I came home from K-Mart, because all the fucking tourists were taking up all the parking spaces closer to my apartment.

Don't you people have places to shop in your own states? Do you have to come from all over Maryland, New Jersey, and especially Pennsylvania, to shop in MY TOWN? GO HOME!
