Not Funny.
Some fucktard somewhere in the apartment building was playing with the water while I was trying to take a shower. It was fine when I got in, then it suddenly was ... completely hot water. You don't know hot water until you've been in this building. It's like, 160 degrees or something. So I scream and pull the shower curtain in front of me to protect myself from parboilage, and suddenly it's back to normal.

I let go of the curtain, and suddenly it goes completely cold. I scream again, and grab for the curtain, but before I can pull it in front of me again, it's back to fucking Bunn water. (For those who don't know, in addition to commercial coffee machines, Bunn also makes a commercial instant-hot water machine, for use in making refried beans at Taco Bell. Actually, we also threw buckets of Bunn water on the floor when it was time to deck scrub, and we used it to rinse the drain trays in front of the soda machines. Hot water == clean. The standard temperature for the Bunn machine was 190 F.) It continued like this for at least five minutes, at which point it went lukewarm. I took the chance, washed the important parts, and jumped out.

So much for the nice long relaxing shower I was looking forward to.

Current Mood: pissed off pissed off

i sat back a second and attempted to visualize your hot-water-shower-nightmare...i do apologize, but i laughed (only due to the screaming, which in my mind, was high-pitched)

I've heard him when this happens. Sometimes it's usually just "Mat! Come shut this fucking thing off!" Other times it's a high pitch scream that can shatter glass.

I've never met him, yet still i can imagine what it would be like for me. Painful yet hilarious.

And Ryan... thanks for the help in the support. :)
